Recognizing the critical need for blood donations for patients suffering from this genetic blood disorder, Dhivehi Insurance mobilized its employees to contribute to this vital cause.
Employees from various departments gathered at the Thalassemia Centre, showing solidarity and compassion for those affected by thalassemia. The blood donation event aimed to collect much-needed blood supplies and raise awareness about the condition, its impact, and the importance of regular blood donations.
In addition to the blood drive, Dhivehi Insurance launched an awareness campaign on their social media platforms, sharing educational posts about thalassemia, its symptoms, and the ongoing need for blood donations. Informative sessions were also conducted by medical professionals to educate employees and the public about the condition and how they can support those living with thalassemia.
