Mr. Ameel has been an influential player in the insurance industry in the Maldives, serving his latest post as Managing Director of Allied Insurance Company before joining Dhivehi Insurance.

Being at the helm of the industry, Mr. Ameel has pushed forward many new groundbreaking insurance initiatives in the Maldives. Equally passing on his experience and technical consultancy to Dhivehi.

Ahmed Ameel

Mr. Ahmed Adam has been working with us from the beginning of the operation of Dhivehi insurance Company. His main role is to assist MD and other top executives to plan, develop, implement and oversee companyu2019s day to day operations. 

He is responsible to oversee the operation of all departments ensuring a proper system and mechanism in place. He has worked in the Department of Inland Revenue Authority, Tourism Industry, Maldives Monetary Authority. He is also an independent audit practitioner in Maldives having over 14 years of experience in the financial industry including insurance regulatory experience. He is also responsible for managing company finance and reinsurance accounts.

Ahmed Adam

Mr. Rinan Fareed has 4 years of experience in the industry and has worked in the leading Insurance Broker, Insular Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., with work involving underwriting, client negotiations, managing claims and leading surveys.

Mr. Rinan has a Diploma in Insurance from the Malaysia Insurance Institute, Malaysia. He is responsible for the overall technical underwriting and claims of the company.

Rinan Fareed

Mr. Yareesh has 10 years of experience in training and development area. He holds a diploma in Account and CII - Certificate in Insurance.

Mr. Yareesh is currently responsible for everything regarding Sales within the company.

Hussain Yareesh

Mr. Thanzeem joined the company in 2017 and is currently managing the Underwriting and Customer Service Department. He has attained a well-rounded range of experience from technical underwriting to claims assessment by working across various roles in the company till date.

Prior to joining the company, he had served a technical role at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority.

Mr. Thanzeem holds a Bacheloru2019s in Science (Hons) in Actuarial Studies and a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute UK.

Aminath Raisham, a distinguished member of our team since 2022, has been a driving force in advancing our legal operations.

Drawing from her extensive background at the President’s Office of the Maldives, she served as Deputy Legal Officer for a duration of over two years. Furthermore, her professional journey encompasses roles at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, complemented by her dedicated position as a part-time lecturer at the Maldives National University.

Raisham's academic prowess is equally noteworthy, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) earned from the prestigious University of Hertfordshire, UK, and a Masters of International Commercial Law (LLM) attained from the University College Dublin, Ireland.
